Following that, Mike and Jay speak about President Biden’s announcement that each one US forces will likely be withdrawn from Afghanistan by September 11, 2021 – the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 assaults. Jay thinks that sends a horrible message and that withdrawing fully is a mistake. Mike is extra conflicted on the difficulty, however they each agree that in Afghanistan there aren’t any good choices.
